Shana is a member of the Life Sciences Health Industry Group, practicing in the area of product liability litigation and commercial litigation. Her practice concentrates on pharmaceutical and medical device litigation and other personal injury or commercial litigation in state and federal courts. In 2006, Shana was actively involved in the diet drug litigation and worked on two trials taken to verdict. She also has experience responding to written discovery, organizing voluminous document productions, conducting e-discovery, taking plaintiff, fact witness, expert and medical provider depositions, working closely with expert witnesses and representing clients at arbitrations and mediations. In 2009, Shana was a key member of a trial team that took a hormone therapy case to verdict. Most recently, Shana has been actively involved representing medical device manufacturers in state and federal courts. In defense of the medical device manufacturer, Shana led the sales and marketing team, which was responsible for preparing company witness and sales representatives for their depositions. She also took many case specific depositions including plaintiffs’ key expert on damages. She also represents a physician practice group in ongoing claims involving anti-trust and breach of contract.
