Global law firm Reed Smith represented Isola, a global manufacturer of copper-clad laminates and dielectric prepregs used in printed circuit boards serving aerospace, defense, communications, automotive, industrial, medical, and advanced electronics markets, in its sale to Principal Mineral, which focuses on resilient supply chains for strategic materials used in advanced technology applications.

The transaction creates a vertically integrated, resilient platform. Principal Mineral is a leader in rebuilding the industrial “missing midstream” of the strategic materials supply chain. The combined organization will employ approximately 1,300 people and operate 10 facilities globally.
