Merrithew is a mindful movement education and equipment company whose programs include STOTT PILATES® and additional mind-body, barre, athletic conditioning, and functional training methods. The GYROTONIC organization is the creator of the GYROTONIC and GYROKINESIS® methods, which use fluid, three-dimensional movement through specialized equipment and movement sequences and are practiced in studios and wellness centers worldwide.
The acquisition will expand Merrithew's movement education and equipment portfolio by adding two globally practiced methods focused on strength, mobility, coordination, and rehabilitation. Through the GYROTONIC organization's network of authorized studios and trainers, Merrithew will extend its reach across an additional global community of instructors, trainers, therapists, and movement professionals.
