Rons practice focuses on advising clients on a wide range of federal tax matters, with particular emphasis on the federal tax planning and structuring of domestic and cross-border/international mergers and acquisitions, tax-free reorganizations, spin-offs and divestitures, joint ventures and partnerships, restructurings, financial instruments, financing transactions, litigation funding, and equity and debt offerings. He is also involved in federal and cross-border/international tax planning and structuring for publicly traded and privately held companies in connection with their business activities and operations, and for private equity funds and their portfolio companies in connection with their formations, investment activities and platforms, joint ventures and partnerships, and operations.
