NEW YORK - New York-based counsel Ben Love has been invited to join the Annual Meeting Committee of the American Society of International Law (ASIL).

The Annual Meeting Committee selects and shapes the sessions for ASIL’s annual meeting, this year themed “Reconceiving International Law: Creativity in Times of Crisis.” The meeting will provide a forum for participants to think critically and creatively about all fields of international law. Sessions will present a broad range of perspectives on innovative ways to address emerging issues, improve global governance, and tackle international problems.

Committee members will liaise with the ASIL interest group co-chairs about the substantive interest group sessions for the annual meeting, contact moderators and speakers to coordinate their attendance and participation at the annual meeting, and compile the annual meeting proceedings.

ASIL has nearly 4,000 members from more than 100 nations, including attorneys, academics, corporate counsel, judges, representatives of governments and non-governmental organizations, international civil servants, students, and others interested in international law.
