LONDON – Four of Reed Smith’s lawyers have landed on the Europe, Middle East and Africa IFLR1000 Women Leaders list in their respective jurisdictions.

The four listed Reed Smith lawyers are:

  • Tamara Box – United Kingdom
  • Delphine Currie – United Kingdom
  • Bronwen Jones – United Kingdom
  • Victoria Westcott – France

This marks the fourth consecutive year Box and Westcott – both partners in Reed Smith’s Financial Industry Group – have been named to IFLR1000’s Women Leaders list.

IFLR1000’s annual list of Women Leaders highlights the most prominent female lawyers in financial and corporate law.

Box is the managing partner for Reed Smith in Europe and the Middle East and the former chair of the firm's Financial Industry Group. She has more than 20 years' experience advising arrangers, dealers, issuers and trustees in a wide range of debt instruments.

Currie is co-chair of the firm’s Global Corporate Group. She has extensive experience representing clients on their successful IPOs on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange and on AIM. She acts for clients on mergers and acquisitions, takeovers and joint ventures and has particular knowledge of the real estate sector.

Jones is co-head of the Reed Smith fund finance team. She acts for banks and other financial institutions, sponsors, general partners and fund managers on the whole range of fund finance matters. She also has experience with asset finance, project finance, acquisition finance, intercreditor issues, and investment grade and corporate facilities.

Westcott focuses on project finance, asset finance and export finance. She has a particular understanding of transportation and social infrastructure project finance, as well as energy sector finance. She has handled deals in Turkey, West Africa, and throughout Europe.

Box, Currie, Jones and Westcott were selected because of their impressive track records and frequent praise of their advice and service from clients and peers, according to IFLR1000.
