Throughout her career, Kate has been recognized for her ability to develop innovative legal strategies that protect her clients’ interests and achieve favorable outcomes. Her experience spans a wide array of cases initiated by healthcare providers, professional medical societies, and subscribers. She has successfully addressed legal challenges based on intricate and multifaceted issues such as RICO conspiracy, ERISA violations, bad faith, contract and quasi-contract disputes, tortious interference, and state prompt pay breaches. Kate also has significant experience with fraud investigations related to coding, billing, and claims submission in the managed care industry, as well as overpayment recovery efforts and litigation arising from those investigations.  Her strategic approach and comprehensive knowledge of these legal areas have made her a trusted advisor and formidable advocate for her clients.

Before embarking on her corporate law career, Kate served as an Attorney Advisor to the U.S. Department of Labor from 1997 to 1999. Beyond her professional commitments, she has been a passionate volunteer attorney with the Support Center for Child Advocates for more than 15 years, and served on the board of the Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue.
