He represents emerging and superstar-level talent, music companies, entrepreneurs, investors, and brands on a wide array of music and entertainment-related agreements, including recording and distribution, publishing, joint venture, live touring, sponsorship and endorsement, management, master use and synchronization, and other music rights clearance agreements.
Josh has extensive experience representing buyers and sellers of recorded music and music publishing assets, having closed over $2B in music catalog transactions on behalf of artists, songwriters, institutional investors, and major and independent music companies. Josh is recognized for his significant expertise in copyright law and his deep understanding of the complex music rights and royalty landscape.
He also regularly advises clients on domestic and international music rights issues related to digital content distribution and new technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), NFTs and Web3 applications.
