Christoph regularly advises national and international clients on prosecution, portfolio management, licensing and infringement matters,in particular pertaining to trademarks, designs, copyrights and unfair competition.
A strong focus of his work is on IP litigation. Christoph has longstanding experience in representing clients in high-profile disputes before the German and European Community authorities and courts. He represents clients in the relevant German infringement courts (first instance and appellate proceedings), the German Patent and Trade Mark Office (DPMA), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the European Courts (General Court and CJEU) in all matters concerning trademark, design and copyright law as well as unfair competition law.
Prior to joining Reed Smith, Christoph worked in the IP department of an international law firm as well as for a boutique law firm specializing in IP, Tech and Media, both based in Munich.
