Debra is counsel in Reed Smith’s Financial Industry Group, practicing in financial services litigation and commercial dispute resolution. Debra provides litigation, credit risk and restructuring counsel to institutional lenders and investors, including equipment, corporate, healthcare, retail and franchise finance lenders.
Debra was previously Senior Counsel at GE Capital in the Risk-Mitigation and Restructuring & Bankruptcy Centers of Excellence, where she supported the Equipment Finance, Corporate Finance, Commercial Distribution Finance and Healthcare Finance portfolios. Debra managed hundreds of distressed accounts and advised business leaders on relevant laws and industry best practices pertaining to litigation, workout, risk, compliance and financial crime prevention. Debra also managed cross-function and cross-business projects on regulatory simplification, customer centricity and legal cost savings.
