LONDON – Global law firm Reed Smith has advised Helios Climate, Africa’s premier climate-focused investment platform, which operates the Luxembourg-based Helios CLEAR Fund SCSp, on a sustainability-linked credit facility.

By securing a sustainability-linked credit facility arranged by a syndicate of international banks, Helios Investment Partners has taken a major step in its support to private companies active in Africa which promote climate action and environmental sustainability.

The Reed Smith team advising on the deal was led by partners Maccailein Campbell and Leon Stephenson, with support from associates Odes-Clara Leguet, Eleanor Jack and Emily Clarke, and trainee Alix Fortun.
