Julia is a member of Reed Smith’s Complex Litigation Group with substantial experience in assisting clients in the life sciences industry. She concentrates her practice in matters involving breach of contract, product liability, business torts, and other complex business disputes. She also has experience in handling government pharmaceutical pricing investigations. In addition, Julia defends pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in mass tort litigation, involving products such as contraceptives and vaginal mesh. She has experience at all stages of litigation in both federal and state courts, and in resolving disputes through pre-litigation counseling, mediation, arbitration and litigation. Julia is also committed to the firm’s diversity initiatives. She is an Associate Liaison on Reed Smith’s Diversity Committee and also serves as the Associate Liaison on Reed Smith’s Hispanic/Latino Affinity Group.
