Ellie has worked on a range of complex cross-border commercial disputes, including professional negligence and judicial review claims before the High Court and Court of Appeal.
Ellie is a member of Reed Smith’s Insurance Recovery Group. Her experience includes a focus on coverage disputes for policyholders, across a broad range of policy types and jurisdictions, including Bermuda form arbitrations, as well as related risk-management advice.
Ellie is also qualified as a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong and worked in Hong Kong for four years, with experience of insolvency-related fraud and professional negligence claims being litigated in the Hong Kong courts.
Ellie is actively involved in pro bono, including pro bono representation of clients before the High Court in commercial and judicial review claims. She is a firm champion for Amicus, helping provide representation for those facing the death penalty in the United States.
