As a Summer Associate, you can look forward to genuine real-life training, meaning you will partake in real work from real clients and handle the same type of assignments that our junior associates handle. You will have the opportunity to work on assignments from a variety of practice groups, building relationships and skills across offices and specialties. In addition to taking part in professional development training from our in-house Learning & Development, you will be assigned dedicated mentors and writing coaches who are there to support you and encourage your professional development throughout the program.

Throughout the summer, you will experience the real culture of our firm through informal, relaxed social events alongside our lawyers. This will give you a chance to gain a deeper insight into each person’s path to Reed Smith, allowing you to get to know fellow team members and begin to network and build your own profile.
