Reed Smith's Investment Management Group has partnered with DolphinSearch, a concept recognition technology company, to develop a tool that helps registered Investment Advisers incorporate e-mail into their compliance programs.  ComplianSeek works unobtrusively with your current IT system.

ComplianSeek provides both record retention and audit capabilities. The retention product helps Investment Advisers to identify e-mails that must be retained under the Investment Advisers Act as required books and records.  The audit product provides the capability to audit a firm's e-mail for compliance with the Investment Advisers Act by allowing the auditors to filter, retrieve, and review a meaningful sample of documents that are most likely to suggest non-compliant activity.
