The Life Sciences Law Institute complements these new benefits by providing a forum for dialogue on significant life science legal issues. These issues include conflicts of interest, complex licensing issues, permissible off-label use, FDA regulatory issues, and CMS reimbursement issues, among many others. This program is designed to address the unique issues faced by in-house and outside counsel for pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology companies, device manufacturers, academic medical centers, and health care providers who have relationships with the life sciences industry.  Join us for an in-depth treatment of life sciences law at a program hallmarked by AHLA’s traditional strengths: detailed outlines, exceptional speakers, and terrific networking. We hope to see you in San Francisco.

On Wednesday, April 25, at 4:00 p.m., Reed Smith's Partner, Tom Quinlan, will speak on "The Winding Road to a Collaboration or License Agreement."  On Thursday, April 26, 2007, at 8:00 a.m., Reed Smith Partner and Program Chair, Elizabeth Carder Thompson, will provide the welcome and introduction.
