International law firm Reed Smith Richards Butler LLP is delighted to announce the appointment of Jeff Drew as a Partner in the restructuring group, based in London. Jeff, who previously headed the financial restructuring group at Akin Gump’s London Office, will join the firm on 1st June 2007. Jeff’s Associate Nuala Barratt, will also join, bringing the total number of lawyers in the global restructuring practice to over 45.
Jeff, a licensed insolvency practitioner, focuses on international restructuring and insolvency matters. He advises insolvency practitioners, financial institutions, companies and directors in connection with administrations, receiverships, liquidations, voluntary arrangements, debt and security restructuring and turnarounds and workouts. He has also been involved in the restructuring of several US groups with overseas subsidiaries and, through this work, has gained a detailed knowledge of US Chapter 11 restructurings. Jeff has counselled clients in the automotive, manufacturing, property retail and timeshare sectors. He is a member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals.
