(4 December 2017) – Reed Smith was Highly Commended for Technology Team of the Year at the British Legal Awards 2017. The firm was chosen following the creation of its firmwide Pricing Tool.
The firm’s Client Value Team (CVT) worked alongside Practice Innovation (PI) to create a tool which would enable lawyers to create budgets at a matter’s inception and enable clients to track legal spend through a matter. The Tool forms part of Reed Smith’s broader Client Value based philosophy by partnering with the firm’s Legal Project Management programme to more accurately predict, monitor and deliver in line with anticipated legal spend.
The firm was awarded Private Equity Team of the Year and also nominated for M&A Team of the Year (Medium-Sized Deal).
The awards were received on Thursday 30 November at a glittering ceremony held at Finsbury Square, London.
