John, who is a seasoned business litigator, focuses his nationwide practice on representing broker-dealer and wealth management clients in internal reviews, regulatory investigations by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and state securities and insurance regulators, arbitration and litigation, and compliance counseling.

Having represented broker-dealers of securities on a nationwide basis for almost 20 years, John brings to the firm a unique broker-dealer regulatory and litigation practice that meets a need that clients have sought, and one which complements the Financial Industry Group’s existing non-consumer litigation practice.
“For so many years, I handled the toughest cases for my broker-dealer and other wealth management clients. But my best years are ahead of me and I was looking to raise my game even further. John received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1998, and his B.S. from Seton Hall University in 1995.
