Reed Smith entertainment and media partner Sophie Goossens has been named to The Hollywood Reporter’s Power Lawyers 2021: Hollywood's Top 100 Attorneys list. This list recognizes the 100 lawyers who have set themselves apart from their peers negotiating the industry’s biggest deals and navigating its most impactful litigation in Hollywood.
Goossens is a digital media expert with over 15 years’ experience as counsel to media and technology industries. Brussels born, English and French qualified as a lawyer and based between Paris and London, Sophie was the only non-US lawyer acknowledged on the list. She balances technical legal experience – in Contract, Copyright, IT, Data and European law – true commercial insight and cutting edge knowledge of developments in the tech sector. She also leads Reed Smith’s Entertainment and Media Industry practice in Paris.
