International law firm Reed Smith has launched a new podcast channel called Dealmaker Insights to help clients navigate the complexities of deal-making across industries around the globe.
On the channel, Reed Smith transactional lawyers (and their guests) delve into the latest themes affecting the corporate world and provide perspectives into the legal and commercial considerations impacting how transactions get done. It will feature contributions from lawyers in the firm’s Corporate and Finance groups.
The channel’s first episode discusses trends in commercial mortgage-backed securities since the 2008 financial crisis, and describes where the market is headed now. Reed Smith partners Tamara Box and Iain Balkwill deliver the podcast titled CMBS: Destined to be on the naughty step forever?, and ask the question: “Will we learn from the mistakes of the past?”
