Nelson is a highly experienced arbitration lawyer whose practice focuses on the Middle East, advising on major oil, gas and construction and infrastructure disputes. She represents clients in ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL, DIAC and ADCCAC arbitration proceedings seated in the major arbitration seats including London, Paris and Geneva as well as regional seats including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Oman.

In Legal 500’s 2023 EMEA rankings, Nelson was named in the publication’s Hall of Fame for United Arab Emirates Construction and Reed Smith was ranked as a Tier 1 firm in that same category.

The recently launched Legal 500 Middle East and North Africa Awards celebrate the achievements of lawyers, barristers, law firms, sets and in-house legal departments across the region. Winners will be announced at a ceremony held on 8 February 2024.
