Mira is an associate based in Reed Smith’s London office, specialising in contentious and non-contentious energy and commodity matters.
Mira has cross-border experience working with national oil companies, global commodity traders, mining companies, banks and non-bank lenders.
Mira’s transactional experience includes assisting clients with drafting and negotiating documentation relating to the sale, purchase, trading, storage and transportation of commodities. This experience includes updating the general terms and conditions for a range of products, negotiating back-to-back commodity sale and purchase agreements and drafting offtake and marketing agreements.
On the contentious side, Mira has experience acting for clients in the English High Court, as well as in ICC and LCIA arbitration.
Having completed secondments to ENI and ADNOC, Mira has first-hand experience with various teams within the business and has provided day-to-day support to the commodity trading desks.
In addition to this, Mira is also an active member of the firm’s wider initiatives and is legal counsel for Reed Smith’s refugee project, Lamp, Lifeboat, Ladder.
