Robin advises on all manner of employment issues, including the handling of disciplinary and grievance procedures, fraud by employees, resolving conflicts in the work place, effecting changes in terms and conditions including place of work, bonus disputes and handling allegations of whistle-blowing and discrimination. He also advises regularly on team moves and Boardroom disputes and on employment law issues in a regulatory context.

Robin has particular expertise in employment litigation representing clients in complex and high value matters before both the Employment Tribunal and the High Court. He has enjoyed notable success in defending discrimination and whistle-blowing claims and acting for employers in enforcing their rights in relation to confidential information, the enforcement of restrictive covenants and “garden leave”, where he has acted in a number of important and high profile cases. A number of these cases have had an international dimension.

Robin is a regular platform speaker at client conferences. He also speaks regularly at Reed Smith client seminars including most recently a round table discussion seminar on Protecting Business Interests in the Global Market Place.
