Nadia is an associate based in Reed Smith’s London office, primarily working on trade, commodities and sports finance matters. Prior to joining Reed Smith, Nadia worked at a Norwegian oil and gas engineering services company where she gained experience on various offshore upstream projects.
Nadia’s experience covers a variety of cross-border financing structures, including bilateral and syndicated lending (acting on both the lender and borrower side) and advising a wide range of international clients such as banks, private equity funds, energy companies and global commodity traders.
In the trade and commodities finance area, Nadia assists clients with drafting and negotiating facility and security documentation and advises on other trade and receivables finance products.
She also advises clients on sports financings, including loan and receivables purchase facilities in relation to football player transfers, and loan facilities to football clubs secured by media payments.
Nadia also has experience working on strategic equity, derivatives and structured finance transactions, as well as acquisition, leveraged, real estate and fund finance facilities.
In addition to this, Nadia is an active member of the firm’s pro bono initiatives and is on the committee of Reed Smith’s Multicultural Network.
