Guiding her clients through the opportunities and challenges presented by an ever-changing property market, Brigid has extensive experience and knowledge of the real estate industry. She also serves as managing partner of Reed Smith’s London office.
From site acquisition to exit strategies, Brigid advises developers across the full spectrum of real estate requirements involved in mixed-use and residential development projects. She also works with corporate occupiers in the retail, office, and leisure sectors on pre-lets and lettings within development and redevelopment sites.

Advising a joint venture between Mace Developments and Doric Properties on all real estate aspects of the £150 million regeneration of Botley town centre in Oxford by way of a mixed-use scheme comprising student accommodation, retail units and community uses. This complex project involved advice on site assembly, acquisition, pre-lets, funding, forward sales, structuring, tax and construction.
Acted for a Chinese developer on a US$1 billion project in Nine Elms in London, a substantial mixed use development of more than one million square feet comprising 491 apartments, a five-star hotel and two high-rise towers.
Advising Greycoat in a joint venture with Goldman Sachs in relation to the acquisition and pre-letting of Procession House, a prime office block at Ludgate Circus in London.

Assisted Parkview International in relation to their proposed redevelopment of the Battersea Power Station Site, in London and acted in relation to another proposed West London development site.
Acting for Banda Group on a number of development site acquisitions, structuring and subsequent sales.
Assisting developers from Asia with their hotel and residential developments in London, including Dorsett Hospitality International.
