Acting for an industrial group of the nuclear sector in the framework of a litigation against a national electricity company on major maintenance operations of a nuclear power plant. The matter includes an ICC arbitration (seat in London, English spoken) for a provisional amount at stake of more than €150 million, dozens of adjudication proceedings (NEC3 contracts) and litigations before local courts.
Acted for an Asian investment group in the framework of two LCIA arbitrations against former shareholders of a mining company related to an important phosphate deposit in Africa (seat in London, English spoken).
Advised one of the world leaders in the field of ceramic in an ICC arbitration against a former commercial partner in relation with the execution of a guarantee on first request in a project in the Republic of Congo (seat in Brussels, English spoken).

Acted for a French defence company (a subsidiary of a major European aviation, aerospace and defence group) in respect of a € 230 million claim brought by a foreign State in an ICC arbitration proceeding.
Acted for a former subsidiary of a major oil & gas company, in connection with an ad hoc arbitration claim for US$22bn under the UNCITRAL Rules. The claim was brought by a private entity and by two Regions of the Russian Federation purporting to be contracting parties to an agreement for oil exploration in Russia dating from the early 1990s that never came into effect.
Acted for an African State in a US$600m ICC arbitration initiated by a transport and logistics company handling various infrastructure projects. The dispute raised complex factual and legal issues (such as the effect of bribery and other public policy violations on jurisdiction, the validity of public works contracts).
Acted for an Italian turnkey project provider in an ICC arbitration against the Republic of Chad in connection with the construction of a pharmaceutical complex.
Acted for a multinational commodity trading and mining company in a dispute against an African State over a tax adjustment of nearly US$30m.
Acted for U.S.-based developers of a new resort installation in North Africa in an ICC arbitration brought by a consortium of banks relating to a lending facility and project delays.
Acted for an Algerian cable company in an ICC arbitration under Greek law and UNIDROIT principles relating to a contract for the international sale of copper.
Acted for Casino Group in an USD 600 million ICC arbitration arising out of a dispute with its Brazilian partner in Companhia Brasileira de Distribuiçao (CBD), one of the main retailers in Brazil, relating to that partner’s efforts to orchestrate a merger between CBD and the Brazilian assets of their competitor Carrefour.
Acted for an international organization in a dispute with a catering service provider in Afghanistan.
Acted for a major industrial group in a EUR 500 million ICC arbitration concerning claims arising under a construction contract for an innovative sophisticated technological system.
Acted for a large European mining company in an ICC arbitration concerning claims arising under a 10-year contract for the supply of bauxite.
Acted for a major distribution group in an international arbitration under the Swiss Rules regarding the termination of a mass marketing agreement.
Acting for the Republic of Senegal in an ICSID arbitration brought by an Australian mining and oil and gas company in relation to the termination of two exploration and production sharing agreements.
Advised an international mining company relating to a potential ICSID arbitration against the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) following the reform of the DRC’s mining code and associated stabilization provisions.
Acted for the Republic of Senegal in an ICSID arbitration brought by the French cement manufacturer Vicat under the France-Senegal bilateral investment treaty (BIT). The claim related to the interpretation and scope of the fair and equitable treatment provision of the BIT and involved complex legal and factual issues. The Claimants eventually withdrew the claim with prejudice.
Acted for a U.S. investor in proceedings to set aside two PCA awards against Peru before the Paris Court of Appeal. The arbitral awards were rendered on the basis of the U.S.-Peru bilateral investment treaty.
Acted for a European group of defence in a post-arbitration proceeding against an Asian state and in front of French jurisdictions, in the framework of the execution of an international arbitration decision involving the procurement of a judicial receiver.
Acted for an Asian multinational electronics company in proceedings to set aside an ICC arbitral award before the Paris Court of Appeal. The dispute concerned the pricing of a patent license and raised important IP and competition issues.
Acted for a major German bank in proceedings to set aside an ICC arbitral award before the Paris Court of Appeal.
Acted for the majority shareholder of a family catering and hotels conglomerate in proceedings to set aside an ICC arbitral award before the Paris Court of Appeal and subsequently the French Supreme Court.
