CHICAGO – Global law firm Reed Smith has advised Imperial Dade, a leading distributor of food services packaging and janitorial supplies, in its definitive agreement to acquire Veritiv Canada Inc. (NYSE: VRTV).

With the acquisition of Veritiv, Imperial Dade, based in Jersey City, N.J., will expand into the Canadian marketplace.
