Chris draws on his litigation practice when advising clients in a proactive manner to minimize the risk of claims. His compliance-oriented practice includes drafting contracts and policies; advising clients on key decisions and practices relating to recruiting, hiring, and terminating employees; and counseling companies about accommodation of workers and management of leaves of absence.

Prior to entering private practice, Chris practiced at the New York City Law Department. In that role, Chris defended the City of New York, its agencies, and management-level officials in federal and state court in single-plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, and class action employment and tort-related litigation, including cases brought under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, First Amendment, section 1983, and New York State and City Human Rights Laws. There, Chris managed all aspects of litigation, and served as lead counsel in numerous state and federal court jury trials, five of which went to verdict.
