Ping Ting is a dual qualified (Singapore and England & Wales) corporate transactional lawyer whose practice includes both local and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and restructurings. She advises on a diverse range of transactions involving commodities, including the mining and processing of metals, as well as transactions in the transportation (shipping and aviation) sectors. She also supports investment consortiums and operators of large-scale industrial parks (both well-established and under development) in Southeast Asia on transactional, infrastructure as well as on-going regulatory compliance matters.

Representative matters

Advised an SGX-listed shipbuilding company on the acquisition of a minority shareholding in one of the world’s largest owner and operator of container ships for circa USD 800 million.
Advised Global Fortune-500 Tsingshan Group on a circa USD 400m investment and joint venture in an Argentinian lithium project as a joint venture with Euronext Paris-listed mining and metallurgy company Eramet Group, and the subsequent buy-back by Eramet Group.
Advised a South Korea-based private fund in various investments in logistics and infrastructure assets in Southeast Asia.
