David is a partner in the Global Corporate Group's Chicago office and also serves as Vice-Chair of U.S. Corporate and Global Vice-Chair of Private Equity Finance. David focuses his practice on private equity, leveraged finance, venture capital, sports financings and other debt financing transactions.
David represents clients in a wide range of financing transactions, including leveraged buyouts and acquisition financings, working capital financings/refinancings, subordinated and mezzanine facilities, and loan workouts and restructurings. He has extensive experience representing a variety of borrowers and issuers, including private equity sponsors and portfolio companies in lending transactions, such as syndicated acquisition financings, split lien loans, cross-border loans, secured and unsecured lines of credit, asset-based loans, cash-flow loans, bridge loans and subordinated indebtedness transactions.
David also advises issuers and underwriters in debt and equity public offerings and other types of secured transactions. On behalf of insurance companies and other institutional investors, he provides counsel in connection with the private placement of debt and related equity investments and exit strategies.
David’s clients include major banks, financial institutions, private equity sponsors, public and private companies, and insurance companies as agents and lenders in corporate lending and financial transactions.
