The certification allows a Florida lawyer to claim to be a specialist in the specified area of the law, and is a project that has been worked on by Ed and others for 10 years for the Florida Bar International Law Section. The committee will work on bringing in new senior members, and developing and administering the entrance exam for certification for new members. Ed has also been asked to chair the inaugural committee for this new certification.
