MIAMI – Reed Smith today announced that real estate finance lawyer Jonathan Kurry has joined the firm as a partner in its Financial Industry Group in Miami. Kurry, who previously served as a partner at Hunton Andrews Kurth, brings to the firm more than 25 years of experience assisting global clients in the development, financing, leasing, operation and sale of real estate.

Kurry’s practice focuses on helping investors, developers and lenders navigate all phases of commercial real estate finance, acquisition, development and management across a wide range of projects and industries, including hospitality, retail, multi-family, office and mixed-use. His experience includes complex joint ventures for development and investment, portfolio transactions, non-performing loan restructurings and workouts, public-private partnerships and community development districts. Many of Kurry's clients and the projects he counsels them on are located In Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe.
