Shawn is counsel based in Singapore, with over nine years’ experience as a Singapore-qualified funds lawyer. Shawn is dedicated to helping his clients succeed.
Shawn advises fund sponsors on the establishment of private equity, real estate, infrastructure, venture capital, and hedge funds. This includes helping clients navigate structuring, regulatory, and tax considerations in order to achieve the optimal outcome. Shawn has deep experience coordinating with tax and various regulatory groups throughout the fundraising process. He also advises fund sponsors on the establishment and restructuring of their carry incentive plans.
In addition, Shawn advises sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, development finance institutions, corporations, and insurance companies on their investments into private equity, venture capital, real estate, and infrastructure funds.
