Antonia is a partner in Reed Smith’s Transportation Industry Group. Antonia was called to the Bar in 2006 and has since qualified as a solicitor, dealing with a wide range of contractual offshore and shipping matters. Antonia advises clients on offshore wind projects, specifically with respect to charters for support vessels involved in such projects. Her experience includes shipping/LNG charterparty, shipbuilding, and sale and purchase disputes in relation to both High Court and arbitration proceedings.

Advised an owner on the set-up of a holistic U.S. offshore wind installation solution, involving bespoke designs for a wind installation jack-up vessel, barges, and tugs, including Jones Act issues.
Represented the owners of an offshore supply vessel (OSV) against a major subsea engineering contractor who entered into separate contracts for the provision of the OSV and specialist crew for a specific project in West Africa. Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the place of delivery was going into lockdown, and the underlying project was postponed until further notice. The dispute involved issues of unseaworthiness and force majeure.
