LONDON – Three international arbitration partners at global law firm Reed Smith have been included in the inaugural The Legal 500 Arbitration Powerlists of leading practitioners.

Timothy Cooke was included for South East Asia, James Willn for the Middle East and Belinda Paisley for the UK.

Cooke is an international arbitration barrister, based in Reed Smith’s Singapore office. He focuses on disputes across Asian jurisdictions and has particular experience in complex joint venture and shareholder disputes, and cases involving energy and natural resources, entertainment and media, and transportation. Cooke also developed the Reed Smith Arbitration Pricing Calculator, a first-of-its-kind mobile app that helps arbitration users to quickly and accurately forecast the cost of arbitration around the world.

Willn is a partner in the firm’s Energy and Natural Resources Group, based in Reed Smith’s Dubai office. He focuses on complex disputes and international arbitrations, largely within the construction, the offshore oil and gas, and other energy industries.

Paisley is recognised in the Legal 500 Hall of Fame for International arbitration and focuses on high value and complex state/investor disputes. She is based in Reed Smith’s London office and is the office managing partner for the firm’s Nur-Sultan office.
