CHICAGO – Global law firm Reed Smith has represented Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-based TriMas Corp. (NASDAQ: TRS) in its acquisition of Intertech Plastics, a provider of complex, precision injection molded components. The deal will expand TriMas’ product portfolio and capabilities for applications in the medical end market.

Intertech will become part of TriMas Packaging, effective immediately. TriMas is a diversified manufacturer of engineered products that serve a variety of industrial, commercial and consumer end markets worldwide.
