Hugh is a partner in Reed Smith’s Insurance Recovery group. Since 1986, his practice has included representing policyholders in evaluating, settling and litigating insurance claims filed in state or federal court, trial of coverage and extra-contractual claims, as well as appellate work. On two occasions, he has obtained eight-figure recoveries or awards in bad faith cases as well as multiple seven-figure recoveries.
