Reed Smith is delighted to be hosting their 21st Annual Competition Forum on Tuesday 11th December 2012 at The Broadgate Tower. 

In the year when the UK Government has introduced legislation to merge the Office of Fair Trading and the Competition Commission to create a new body, the Competition and Markets Authority, we are delighted that our guest speaker is the newly appointed Chairman, Lord Currie of Marylebone.

Lord Currie was the founding Chairman of Ofcom, previous board member of Ofgem, and is the existing Chairman of the International  Centre for Finance Regulation. He therefore has a wealth of regulatory experience and will be sharing with us his vision for the UK’s competition regime, post the merger of the two competition bodies.  After Lord Currie's formal presentation, there will be time for questions.

The Forum will run from 12pm to 2.30pm with a buffet lunch.
