The pandemic and crises of the past two years have brought new waves of psychological distress. But they also have accelerated awareness about mental health and the critical need for support and services. Increasingly, businesses are evolving to encourage open dialogue and help-seeking behaviors. They’re also working to eliminate the stigma that prevents many people from getting help.

Please join us at our 2nd annual Mental Health Summit, which will focus on the mental health impacts of the past two years and the path forward. The summit will be of interest to leaders guiding organizations in these directions, and anyone looking to create a workplace culture that values mental health.

Sessions will include:

  • There’s more to their mental health: Lesser-considered ramifications of the pandemic and global events: The after-effects and uncertainty about the pandemic and world events continue to take a toll on employees’ mental health. Our panelists will discuss how to address the lasting mental health impacts of the past two years, including trauma, PTSD, collective loss, grief, isolation, re-entry anxiety and lingering health effects of COVID.
  • Psychological Capital in the legal industry and other high-stress professions: The focus of mental health professionals has shifted from solely what makes people unwell, to what makes people thrive. Psychological Capital (PsyCap) is a state that can be thought of as mental strength and flexibility. Research tells us that it can be incredibly effective in heightening our ability to meet challenges and manage stress. If developed, our PsyCap not only builds our well-being, it helps provide us with a competitive edge over intelligence and skill alone. Learn how the PsyCap framework can help lawyers and other professionals perform at the highest levels, while also guarding against mental health concerns.
  • Corporate responsibility for employee mental health and wellbeing: Business leaders are increasingly called upon to reassess how they handle employee mental wellbeing. In this discussion, we will examine the role that employers play in reducing stigma and promoting employee mental health and wellbeing.
